On December 28, Fang Li, Secretary of the leading party members’ group of the BJAST, led a team to Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Group) Co., Ltd. to discuss the collaborative innovation cooperation and sign a strategic cooperation agreement. Wang Guiping, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Tongrentang Group, Gu Haiou, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, and Zheng Xin, Member of the leading party members’ group and Vice President of BJAST, attended the meeting and signing ceremony.

Fang Li said that in recent years, the BJAST has been deeply involved in the enterprise-led innovation system of deep integration of production and research, supported the construction of a bridge between science and technology and industry, and established a collaborative innovation mechanism of industry, university and research that "enterprises ask questions and scientific research institutions answer questions".

It is hoped that through this cooperation, a new chapter of collaborative innovation led by leading enterprises and collaborative innovation by scientific research institutes will be formed, and the two sides will carry out joint innovation in multiple fields and forms, comprehensively improve the efficiency of collaborative innovation between industry and research, promote the formation of a collaborative innovation system between enterprises in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, create a model of comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between scientific research institutions and state-owned enterprises, and contribute to the comprehensive and in-depth integration into the construction of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center and the high-quality development of the capital in the new era.
