After over 30 years of development, Beijing Institute of Science and Technology Information now owns comprehensive information resources, information channels and all-round and high-quality staff and provides public-interest information consultancy and public services for the government and the society. It has become a specialized information consultancy institute centered on informatics and covering the fields of information resources, information technology and information service. So far, the Institute has won three National Scientific and Technological Progress Awards, five Information Achievement Awards by state Commission of Science and Technology, 43 Scientific and Technological Progress Awards on national level and ministry level, 58 Information Achievement Awards on municipal level, gaining high reputation in the field of information service in China and being an important part of information services in Beijing.
